John Benjamin Hellard, 72, of Louisville, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Signature Healthcare East in Louisville. He was born March 6, 1944, 
in Shelbyville to the late Johnny and Gladys Wakefield Hellard. He was a former employee of Corharadts.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Hellard and Sharon Logsdon, both of Louisville; one son, John B. Hellard of Louisville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at Highview Cemetery in Chaplin with Bro. Tim VanHook officiating.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
