Bardstown City Council meets this afternoon to discuss 911 dispatching

Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 11:55 a.m. — The Bardstown City Council will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. today to receive a presentation on 911 dispatching from the Kentucky State Police. The council is expected to discuss if it will go with KSP for city and fire dispatching or move forward with an agreement to remain part of the current joint city-county dispatch center.
The council will also go into closed session to discuss a proposed lawsuit against Nelson Fiscal Court, followed by a recommendation by the City Attorney once the council emerges from its close session.
