Obituary: Garnett Earl Harmon, 44, Bardstown
Garnett Earl Harmon, 44 of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at Springview Hospital in Lebanon from a massive heart attack. He was born July 28, 1972, in Lebanon and was an employee of Toyoda Gosei “T.G.” He was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Mill Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hutchins Harmon of Bardstown, his father and stepmother, Charles and Rita Harmon of English, Ind.; three sisters, Isshia (Tommy) Craggs of Louisville, Heather (James) Smith of Lebanon and Andrea Ward of Louisville; and his nieces and nephews, Tori Gaines, Jackson Craggs, Emma Craggs, Joshua Smith and Jeneva Smith.
The funeral is noon Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to Hearts & Hands at Norton Hospital Downtown.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
