Louisville police investigating shooting deaths of Bardstown couple

Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, 9 a.m. — Louisville media reported Tuesday morning that the couple found shot to death Wednesday in Louisville’s Beechmont neighborhood were residents of Bardstown.
WLKY 32 in Louisville reported that Linda Leslie, 27, and Julian Ramirez, 32, both of Bardstown, were the couple found Wednesday shot to death inside a car parked in the 4800 block of South Third Street.
The victims were discovered at 6:30 a.m. in a car with the headlights on, WLKY reported. According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Leslie was shot multiple times and Ramirez was shot once.
Several residents who live nearby reported hearing gunshots in the area around 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s investigation is ongoing, but no suspects have been named.
