Two arrested after search uncovers indoor pot growing operation

Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, 6 p.m. — Two people were arrested Wednesday on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant of a home by police in the 200 block of Stinson Drive.

Patrick Steven Rapier, 33 and Dawn Marie White, 18, were arrested on charges related to an indoor marijuana growing operation found at the home according to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.

Rapier was charged with cultivating marijuana (five plants or more); trafficking in marijuana (five pounds or more); and possession of drug paraphernalia.

White was charged with cultivating marijuana (five plants or more); trafficking in marijuana (five pounds or more); possession of marijuana (2 counts); and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
