Obituary: Bobby Lou Murphy, 83, Lebanon
Bobby Lou Murphy, 83, of Lebanon, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at her residence. She was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Lebanon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and making wedding cakes. She was a former president of the Lebanon/Marion County Homemakers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Murphy Sr.; her parents, John Hamilton and Grace Henson Hollon; three brothers, Charles Hollon, Harold Hollon and Henson Hollon; and one sister, Virgie Hollon Smith.
Survivors include three daughters, Diana Abell of Lebanon, Denise Murphy of Mount Vernon and Kimberly Jo White of Lexington; four sons, Ronald Murphy of Taylor County, Michael Murphy of Springfield, Chris Murphy of Campbellsville and James Albert Murphy Jr. of Lebanon; three sisters, Mary Catherine Murphy and Dorothy Mattingly, both of Lebanon and Eddie Routin of Taylor County; and several grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon officiated by the Rev. Charles Blevin. Burial is in the Ryder Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, at the funeral home.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
