Obituary: Paul Davis, 87, Bardstown

PAUL DAVIS

Paul Davis, 87, of Bardstown, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at Bardstown Healthcare and Rehab. He was born June 26, 1929, to the late Willie Luther and Eulalah Adams Davis. He retired after 32 years from the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Willie Mae Simms, Laverne DeBell and Mary Lucy Crawford.

He is survived by his wife, Saundra Miller Davis of Bardstown; one daughter, Shirley Mattingly of Bardstown; one son, David (Debbie) Davis of Bardstown; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
