Obituary: Francis Leroy Pile, 71, Raywick

FRANCIS LEROY PILE

Francis Leroy Pile, 71, of Raywick, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at his residence. He was born Jan. 17, 1945, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville, a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of St, Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Criss Cox Pile (2008); his parents, Roy Berton and Mary Catherine Miles Pile; one sister, Ruth Raley; and one brother, Joseph Richard Pile.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Keel (Stacy) of Shepherdsville; one son, Wayne Pile (Amanda) of Campbellsville; and three grandchildren, Brandon Pile, Katie Keel and Scarlett Keel.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick, with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. David W. Naylor officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
