Obituary: Joseph Arch ‘Junie’ Hutchins Jr., 56, Loretto
Joseph Arch “Junie” Hutchins Jr., 56, of Loretto, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Loretto. He was born Aug. 29, 1960, in Marion County. He was a former employee of Canton Cooperage in Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Arch Hutchins Sr. and Marie Wheatley Hutchins; and one brother, John Alvin Hutchins.
Survivors include his fiancé, Rhonda Hill; three daughters, Abby Hutchins of Holy Cross, Wendy Cecil of New Hope and Holly Sullivan (Kenny) of Gravel Switch; one son, Joseph Arch “Trey” Hutchins III of Holy Cross; nine sisters, Linda Bruner and Karan Luckett (Mike), both of Loretto, Denise Hayden of Nerinx, Terri Farmer of Campbellsville, Kathy Pivot (Tony) of Boston, Vickie Newton (Bill) of St. Francis, Deanna Thornton (Tom) of Lebanon, Carol Payton of New Castle and Brenda Sue Daugherty (Dale) of Raywick; one brother, Doug “Purple” Hutchins (Lisa) of St. Francis; one sister-in-law, Brenda Johnson (Albert) of Lebanon; and three grandchildren, Waylon Smith, Luke Sullivan and Emma Sullivan.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto with the Rev. David W. Naylor officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Pallbearers are Syndey Donahue, Greg Mattingly, Donnie Nalley, “Bill Bill” Inman, Doug Hutchins, Justin Farmer and Jamie Hutchins. His nieces and nephews will serve at honorary pallbearers.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
