SATURDAY, SEPT. 17, 2016
DUI. A Bardstown man was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Saturday morning, Sept. 17, 2016, on alcohol-related charges.
According to the uniform citation, Bardstown Officer Brad Carrico conducted a traffic stop after he observed a vehicle allegedly driven by Ethan Stone,18, of Bardstown, weaving on Springfield Road near Marvin Downs Lane. The citation states the officer allegedly found a whiskey bottle in the car, along with a cup with bourbon and cola. The officer administered a breath test that confirmed the presence of alcohol. Stone was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and no operators license.
DUI. A Bardstown woman was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Saturday morning, Sept. 17, 2016, on alcohol-related charges.
According to the uniform citation, Bardstown Police Sgt. Jeremy Cauley observed a 2008 GMC operated by Amber N. Vittitow, 25, swerving from side-to-side as it traveled north on North Third Street. After stopping the vehicle, Vittitow allegedly was unsteady on her feet and smelled of alcohol. A breath test confirmed the presence of alcohol. Vitittow as arrested and charged with driving under the influenced of alcohol and lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A Willisburg woman was arrested at 9:13 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 on charges related to a broken apartment windows.
Bardstown Police Officer Robert Monroe responded to a report of a disorderly subject at Northgate Apartments on East O’Bryan. According to the uniform citation, Amber Waldridge, 29, of Willisburg had allegedly been asked to leave the property after acting disorderly. Witnesses told police Waldridge allegedly broke an apartment window. She was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, third-degree and disorderly conduct, second-degree.
ASSAULT. A Bardstown woman was arrested Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, after she kicked an officer while the officer was arresting another person.
According to the uniform citation, at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Bardstown Police Officer Robert Monroe was arresting another person at a residence on Bourbon Court when he was allegedly kicked in the back by Jennifer Marie Egorow, 37, of Bardstown. Egorow was arrrested and charged with assault, third-degree against a police officer.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS. A Bardstown man was arrested after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a residence on Bourbon Court.
According to the uniform citation, at 1:51 p.m., Officer Glenn Wheatley responded to a complaint that a male subject was creating a disturbance and allegedly making threats to the home’s occupants. Officers found Tommy R. Nix, 37, of Bardstown in front of the residence. Nix had allegedly been banned from the property. When he was told to leave the property he refused. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing, third-degree; disorderly conduct, first-degree; and resisting arrest.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION. A Bardstown man was arrested on an alcohol-related offense after an alleged disturbance at the American Legion Hall on West Broadway.
According to the uniform citation, at 9:16 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, officers responded to the Legion Hall after receiving a call that Kevin P. O’Neil, 54, of Bardstown, was creating a disturbance and would not leave when asked to do so. Bardstown Police Officer Troy Logdson said O’Neil was allegedly unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in public place.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 18, 2016
DUI. A Louisville man was arrested on alcohol-related charges early Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, after his vehicle was observed making improper lane changes.
According to the uniform citation, at 12:21 a.m. Sunday, Officer Brad Carrico observed a 2012 Chevrolet operated by Hunt Lazaro Aguila, 50, of Louisville allegedly make several improper lane changes as it traveled north on North Third Street. Carrico noted the smell of alcohol coming on the driver’s breath. After performing several field sobriety tests, a breath test allegedly confirmed the presence of alcohol. Aguila was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.
MONDAY, SEPT. 19, 2016
SHOPLIFTING. A Mount Washington woman was arrested by Bardstown Police on theft-related charges Monday evening.
According to the uniform citation, at about 5:50 p.m. Monday, Tiffany Star Pennington, 26, of Mount Washington allegedly concealed a variety of items and left the the Bardstown Kroger store without paying. She was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking/disposition, shoplifting under $500.
SHOPLIFTING. A Shepherdsville woman was arrested Monday evening by Bardstown Police on theft-related charges.
According to the uniform citation, at about 5:36 p.m. Monday, Erica Deann Cooley 25, of Shepherdsville was caught taking items from Walmart without paying for them. She was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking/disposition, shoplifting under $500. She also had two outstanding arrest warrants out of Jefferson County.
