Nelson Circuit Court Indictments, Sept. 7, 2016

Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, 1 p.m. – The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. They were for arraigned Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, unless otherwise indicated.

16-CR-240. DANIEL C. GREENWELL, 26, Bardstown, possession of a forged instrument, first-degree; persistent felony offender, second-degree.

According to the indictment, on July 13, 2016, Greenwell allegedly passed a forged $100 bill at Busy Bee. The indictment cites Greenwell’s prior felony conviction as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-241. COREY W. BOGARD, 19, Bardstown, assault, first-degree and complicity to the same; wanton endangerment, first-degree and complicity to the same (4 counts); burglary, first-degree, and complicity to the same; unlawful imprisonment, first-degree and complicity to the same (2 counts); terrorist threatening, third-degree and complicity to the same.

According to the indictment, on July 26, 2016, Bogard – acting alone or in concert with Tyler Sparrow and Savanna Raikes – allegedly entered a residence armed with a deadly weapon with the intent to commit a crime; assaulted a person with a baseball bat; pointed a gun at four different people; prevented two people from leaving the residence and threatened an individual’s life. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-242. DANIEL GREENWELL, 26, Bardstown, possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); disorderly conduct, second-degree; public intoxication.

According to the indictment, on March 29, 2016, Greenwell was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine while under the influence of a controlled substance and engaging in a threatening manner in a public place. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

ANTHONY TYLER SPARROW, 19, Bloomfield, assault, first-degree and complicity to the same; wanton endangerment, first-degree and complicity to the same (4 counts); burglary, first-degree, and complicity to the same; unlawful imprisonment, first-degree and complicity to the same (2 counts); terrorist threatening, third-degree and complicity to the same.

According to the indictment, on July 26, 2016, Anthony Tyler Sparrow – acting alone or in concert with Corey Bogard and Savanna Raikes – allegedly entered a residence armed with a deadly weapon with the intent to commit a crime; assaulted a person with a baseball bat; pointed a gun at four different people; prevented two people from leaving the residence and threatened an individual’s life. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-244. JACOB RICHARDSON, 24, Lebanon Junction, wanton endanger, first-degree (3 counts); violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO; leaving the scene of an accident; no insurance; expired Kentucky registration plates; expired registration receipt.

According to the indictment, on June 3, 2016, Richardson allegedly rammed a car with three people inside, violated a domestic violence order and left the scene of the accident in a vehicle with expired registration and plates. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-245. SAVANNAH RAIKES, 20, Lebanon, assault, first-degree and complicity to the same; wanton endangerment, first-degree and complicity to the same (4 counts); burglary, first-degree, and complicity to the same; unlawful imprisonment, first-degree and complicity to the same (2 counts); terrorist threatening, third-degree and complicity to the same.

According to the indictment, on July 26, 2016, Raikes – acting alone or in concert with Tyler Sparrow and Corey Bogard – allegedly entered a residence armed with a deadly weapon with the intent to commit a crime; assaulted a person with a baseball bat; pointed a gun at four different people; prevented two people from leaving the residence and threatened an individual’s life. Bond was to be set at arraignment.

16-CR-246. CHRISTOPHER DILE, 24, Cox’s Creek, possession of a forged instrument, second-degree (10 counts).

According to the indictment, on May 5, 7, 8, and 9; 2016, Dile allegedly forged 10 checks on the account of another person totaling $485. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-247. LETITIA A. GREEN, 45, New haven, receiving stolen property (firearm).

According to the indictment on April 1, 2016, Green allegedly received, retained or disposed of a stolen Henry .22 lever action rifle belonging to another person. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-248. BENJAMIN ROBERTS, 35, Manchester, flagrant non-support.

According to the indictment, from Jan. 31, 2008 through June 30, 2016, Roberts allegedly failed to provide support he was ordered to pay, resulting in an arrearage of $9,217.48. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

16-CR-249. LESLIE FISCHER, 40 Bardstown, wanton endangerment, first-degree; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc.

According to the indictment, on July 13, 2016, Fischer allegedly operated a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol while her son was a passenger. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.
