Rebecca A. Whitlock, 48, of Louisville, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at her residence. She was born May 8, 1968, in Louisville. She was an employee of Gateway Press.

She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce A. Larimore.

She is survived by one daughter, Akara (Josh) Vetter of Shepherdsville; her companion, Christopher Hood of Louisville; two sisters, Verlina Hibbard and Patricia McLaughlin; two brothers, Christopher (Pam) Hibbard and Martin Hibbard; two grandsons, Kason Vetter and Kahne Vetter; one niece; and several nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
