Two arrested on drug charges after task force search of Henrytown home

Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, 3:30 p.m. –– Two people were arrested on drug charges Monday after local police assisted the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force with a search of a Henrytown home.
Timothy Lee Yonts, 46 and Blair Marie Zachery, 27, both of Bardstown, were arrested after a police search of their Moore Avenue home turned up approximately 10 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and 15 ounces of marijuana.
Yonts and Zachery were charged with trafficking in controlled substances (more than 2 grams methamphetamine); trafficking in marijuana (8 ounces to 5 pounds); possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing, and a task force press release states additional suspects are expected to be charged.
The narcotics task force was assisted by the Bardstown Police Department, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and the Bardstown Flex team.
