Obituary: Franklin A. ‘Frank’ Bice, 66, Bardstown
Franklin A. “Frank” Bice, 66, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Bardstown Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born Jan. 26, 1950, in Grand Rapids, Mich. to the late Franklin A. and Dorothy Froman Bice Sr. He was a retired Master Sergeant for the U.S. Army and an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines. He loved American history and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Morgan Bice; one daughter, Tiffany (Derrick) McCubbins of Bardstown; one son, Russ (Brooke) King of Bardstown; two brothers, Gary Bice of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Ricky “Teri” Bice of Seattle, Wash.; two grandchildren, Carson King and Carlie King; and his father-in-law, Jack Morgan of Bloomfield.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, and 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
