Obituary: Kenneth Clark Osborne, 85, Bardstown

KENNETH CLARK OSBORNE

Kenneth Clark Osborne, 85, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. at Bardstown Health & Rehab. He was born Dec. 18, 1930, in Lenore to the late Everett Lee and Margaret Ash Osborne. He retired as general superintendent for Mago Construction after 45 years. He was an active member of Bardstown United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday school teacher. He was a member of the Antique Gas Engine Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ann Riley Osborne; three sisters; and two brothers.

He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie (Gerard) Yates of Louisville, and Millicent (Frank Ingram) Osborne and Vicki (Pat) Filiatreau, both of Bardstown; two sons, Kenneth (Phyllis) Osborne and Dwayne “Ozzy” (Robin) Osborne, both of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at Bardstown Methodist Church with Bro. Scott Stith and Bro. Randy Coy officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Rd., and 9-11 p.m. Friday at the church.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Kentucky United Methodist Home for Children and Youth, P.O. Box 749, Versailles, KY 40383.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
