EMS, police respond to reported suicde attempt on Fern Lea Circle

Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, 10:33 a.m. — Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS are responded to the 100 block of Fern Lea Circle for a reported suicide attempt. Dispatchers report a caller said someone had possibly hung themselves in a shed behind the residence. EMS transported an approximately 60-year-old male to Flaget Memorial Hospital declaring a “Code Blue,” which means the patient requires immediate resuscitation.
