First Cedar Creek will honor interim pastor on Sunday, Pastor Appreciation Day

Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor Appreciation Day this Sunday, October 16, 2016 with Bro. Gerald Hegwood who was recently called as Interim Pastor.
Bro. Hegwood and his wife, Darlene, natives of Louisiana, have lived in Bardstown for several years and are members of Parkway Baptist Church. Bro. and Mrs. Hegwood are current employees of the Bardstown Walmart.
Following the morning worship service, the Deacons of the church will host a fish fry in Bro. Hegwood’s honor. Deacons of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church are Wayne Ritchie (chairman), Leroy Keeling, Tommy Watson, Ray Rountree, Ray Young, Tim Rountree, Possum Hopper, Eric Hatfield, and Craig Watson.
The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church offers Bible Study for all ages each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Two worship services are held each Sunday. In addition to the 11 a.m. morning worship service, an evening worship service is at 7 p.m. During the morning worship service a nursery for young children is provided, and children ages 4-7 have children’s church during the sermon portion of the service.
