Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 — Bardstown Police are investigating a theft of an Android tablet that happened Thursday afternoon at Anything and More, 710 Bloomfield Road.
According to the store’s security video, two men and a woman — accompanied by two babies in strollers — entered the store just before 3 p.m. While a clerk was showing members of the group a fishing pole, one of them allegedly took a 10-1/2 inch RCA tablet off the shelf and concealed it under their jacket. The group left the store without paying for the tablet.
Bardstown Police posted a Facebook photo of a suspect in the case.
Store owner Jeremy Blevens told WBRT’s Fred Hagan Friday morning that the group was traveling in a late-model silver sedan similar to a Ford Taurus.
Those with information in this incident are asked to call Nelson County Dispatch, (502) 348-3211 or Bardstown Police, (502) 348-6811.
