Obituary: Amy Marie DeMar Lugo, 37, Bardstown

Amy Marie DeMar Lugo, 37, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at her residence. She was born September 15, 1979 in Louisville. She was employed by Flaget Memorial Hospital and Dollar General Store.

She is survived by her children, Jacob Andrew DeMar, Christian Antonio Lugo and Ayden Tyler DeMar, all of Bardstown; her parents, David Gerard and Dianna Faye Gaffney DeMar of Bardstown;

four sisters, Connie Waters and Kimberly Ann DeMar, both of Bardstown, Jessica Diane Keefer of Evansville, Ind. and Megan Jean Demar of Rineyville; four brothers, David Gerard DeMar Jr. of Seattle, and Michael Brian DeMar, Kevin Patrick DeMar and Anthony Aaron DeMar, all of Bardstown.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Burial is i n the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
