City police investigating rash of overnight thefts from parked vehicles

Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, 3 p.m. — Bardstown Police are investigating a rash of thefts from vehicles that happened overnight in several Bardstown neighborhoods.

Thefts were reported just after midnight in the areas of Edgewood, Rosewood and Dogwood Drive, Kendall Manor. At least one witness told police they observed four people — three males and one female — walking through the areas at the time of the thefts and running through backyards.

Thefts from vehicles were also reported in the Wellington subdivision, including Canterbury Court, Cambridge Court and Castleton Drive. One theft from a vehicle parked in a garage was also reported.
