Obituary: Larry Gene Woolett, 59, Shepherdsville

Larry Gene Woolett, 59, of Shepherdsville, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at his home. He was a native of Nelson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents May and Fred Woolett.

He is survived by his wife, Bette Woolett of Shepherdsville; his children, Larry Thompson of LaGrange and Jesse Stanley of Louisville; two sisters, Wanda Woolett and Debbie Woolett, both of Shepherdsville; and three grandchildren, Dylan Thompson, Dalton Thompson and Hannah Thompson.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Visitation is noon-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
