Obituary: Damian Allen, 50, Bardstown

Damian Allen, 50, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1965, to Sue W. Allen and John Clifton Sr.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue W. Allen; and his grandmother, Florence Allen.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan Allen of Evansville, Ind.; one son, Michael Allen of Evansville, Ind.; his father, John Clifton Sr. of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Valarie (Larry) Williams and Carla (David) Mason, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Carlton (Deborah) Allen of Newport News, Va. and Paul Allen of Bardstown; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at St. Monica Catholic Church with the Rev. Peter Do celebrant. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road is in charge of arrangements.
