Bardstown Police investigating Saturday morning Bard Ave. death

Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, 10 a.m. — Bardstown Police are investigating what was reported as a possible suicide that was discovered Saturday morning.

Bardstown Police, Bardstown Fire and Nelson County EMS were dispatched just before 8 a.m. to the area of Bard Avenue after a resident reported seeing what appeared to be an individual hanging from a second-floor balcony.

EMS confirmed the individual was deceased. Police and the Nelson County Coroner were continuing the investigation.
