Obituary: Tanya Lynn Wade, 47, Loretto
TANYA LYNN WADE
Tanya Lynn Wade, 47, of Loretto, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born Jan. 25, 1969, in Marion County. She worked as a child care provider and was former assistant director of the Loretto Child Care Center.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Doug Wade; one daughter, Jami Miller (Mike) of Loretto; her parents, Cooper and Mary Thompson Mattingly; one sister, Jennifer Richardson (Alan) of Lebanon; and one brother, Greg Mattingly (Cathy) of Lebanon.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
The family requests that everyone wear UK-themed attire to honor her and her love of UK basketball.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
