One injured in rollover crash Tuesday night near Fairfield

Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, 10 a.m. — One person was injured late Tuesday night in a single vehicle rollover crash on High Grove Road just west of Fairfield.

At about 11:45 p.m., the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Nelson County EMS and Northeast Nelson Fire Department were dispatched to High Grove Road west of Fairfield for a rollover crash with a single victim trapped in his vehicle. Firefighters extricated the victim who was treated on the scene by EMS. The victim, described as a 26 year old man, was flown from the accident scene directly to University Hospital in Louisville for evaluation and treatment.

The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
