Obituary: James Donald McQuillen, 55, Louisville

James Donald McQuillen, 55, of Louisville, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 4, 1961, in Nelson County to the late Jimmy “Mac” and Norma Lee Mattingly McQuillen.

Survivors include one son, Jamy McQuillen of Louisville; one stepson, Shane Jacobs (Angela) of Louisville; one sister, Pam Bryant (Dennis) of Louisville; five grandchildren, Clayton Block, Alaxis Jacobs, Shane Jacobs, Aaron Jacobs and Ashton Jacobs; two nieces, Nicole Thompson (J.J.) of Bardstown and Jessica Brewer (Jerry) of Bardstown; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with burial in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.

Visitation is 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at the funeral home.

The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
