Bardstown firefighters respond for fire alarm Thursday at FET Engineering

Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, 9:20 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Thursday morning for an active fire alarm at FET Engineering, 903 Nutter Drive.

At about 8:18, a.m., Nelson County Dispatch received a report of an activated fire alarm at the business. The building was evacuated when firefighters arrived. Initial reports stated the business had a fire that was extinguished by the fire suppression system. Firefighters stayed on scene to assist with ventilation of the building.
