Obituary: Willard Michael Hill, 61, Chaplin

WILLARD MICHAEL HILL

Willard Michael Hill, 61, of Chaplin, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of the late Eugene and Effie R. Carrico Hill, born Oct. 25, 1955, in Marion County. He loved to fish and hunt. His hobby was making fishing lures. He loved his many friends, and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Roxie Hill; and one brother, Harry Hill.

He is survived by two sisters, Brenda (Russell) Coulter and Patricia (Melvin) Cull, both of Chaplin; one brother, Billy Hill of Bardstown; one sister-in-law, Lois Hill of Chaplin; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with a prayer service at 3 p.m.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
