First Cedar Creek to honor military veterans at Sunday worship service

Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church will remember military veterans on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, during the 11 a.m. worship service. Included in the service will be recognition of veterans, patriotic songs presented by the church choir, and gifts presented to veterans in attendance. “If you love your country, thank a vet!”

The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church offers Bible Study for all ages each Sunday at 9:45am. Two worship services are held each Sunday. In addition to the morning worship service at 11:00am, an evening worship service is at 7:00pm. During the morning worship service a nursery for young children is provided, and children ages 4-7 have children’s church during the sermon portion of the service.

A community Thanksgiving fellowship meal will be shared Thursday evening, November 17, at 6:00pm. Turkey, bread, and drinks will be supplied by the church. Those attending may bring their favorite foods to share.

All are welcome to attend the activities and services of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church which is located 5 miles west of Bardstown off Boston Road (Hwy 62) on Bellwood Road (Hwy 733).

Bro. Gerald Hegwood is the interim pastor.
