Obituary: Sarah Helen Tyler, 74, Shepherdsville

Sarah Helen Tyler, 74, of Shepherdsville, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Kindred after an illness. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Hobart and Dortha Derringer Lanham; two sisters, Sue Hall and Anna Lee Wilson; and one brothers, Don Lanham.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Tyler; one daughter, Melissa Russell (Kenneth) of Cox’s Creek; two sons, Ronald Tyler (Connie) of Shepherdsville and Kenneth Tyler of Clarksville, Ind.; one brother, Stanley Lanham (Dot); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sowders officiating. Burial is in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 and 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home of Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
