Obituary: Joseph R. ‘Joe’ Breeden, 81, Bardstown
Joseph R. “Joe” Breeden, 81, of Bardstown, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Bardstown Health Care. He was born June 18, 1935, in Nelson County. He retired from General Electric. He was a member of Moose Lodge, and Masonic Duvall Lodge # 6. He attended several Baptist and Catholic 
Churches in Nelson County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.H. and Agnes Breeden; and two brothers, Samuel Breeden and David Breeden.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Breeden; one daughter, Karen Breeden; one stepson, Bob Hahn of Bardstown; one sister, Joyce (Freddie) Bunch of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Hannah Diaz and Austen Ray Whitson, both of Bardstown; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw and Pastor Leland Parks officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Elementary School.
