Obituary: Michael G. Mountan, 60, Hodgenville

Michael G. Mountain, 60, of Hodgenville, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born March 21, 1956 in Washington, D.C. to the late Robert Mountain Sr. and Delores Wilson Mountain. He was an avid fisherman and a great cook who loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Patricia Thurman Mountain of Hodgenville; his mother, Delores Wilson Mountain of Washington, D.C.; his daughter, Kellee Thurman of Louisville; one son, Michael S. Mountain of Maryland; one sister, Sharon Mountain of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Robert Mountain Jr. of Washington, D.C. and Howard (Latonya) Mountain of Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Kaye (Jimmy) Curle and Linda Thurman; one brother-in-law, John Thurman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life is 8 p.ml Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, with the Rev. Moss and Rev. Starks officiating.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel.
