Saturday rockslide closes left eastbound lane of BG Parkway near Boston

Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, 10 p.m. — Bluegrass Parkway travelers take note — a rock slide has blocked the left eastbound lane of the Bluegrass Parkway between the 11 and 12 mile makers just inside the Nelson County line near Boston. At 9 p.m., two police cruisers were on the scene marking the slide with their emergency lights and to warn approaching motorists. There has been no word when state crews will have the slide cleared. If traveling in the area be careful.
