Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 — The Bardstown City Council met Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, and voted to move forward to investigate the anonymous envelopes of Councilwoman Kecia Copeland’s public records left at the city council chambers doorstep. The council received an update on the police department overtime and training from Chief Steve Uram; approved HRB recommendations; approved first reading of an ordinance to annex the new Luxco distillery property on KY 245; and approved changes to the city’s classification and compensation plan to allow the hiring of a recruitment and retention specialist, paid for by a four-year grant. Running time about 1 hour.
