Obituary: Edna Bunch, 97, Chaplin

EDNA BUNCH

Edna Bunch, 97, of Chaplin, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born July 16, 1919, in Nelson County to the late W.J. and Fannie Sweazy Armstrong. She was a former employee of the Bardstown Sewing Factory and the former Peoples State Bank in Chaplin. She was a homemaker and a member of Green’s Chapel Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bunch.

She is survived by two sons, Freddie (Joyce) Bunch of Bloomfield and Larry (Paula) Bunch of Bradenton, Fla.; two grandchildren, Vonda Donoho of Bloomfield and Jenny (Chris) Bunch of Tampa, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Lindsey (Michael) Tinnell of Cox’s Creek and Kelsey Shryock of Elizabethtown; and one great-great grandchild, Regan Tinnell.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Richard Carwile officiating Burial is in the Highview Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
