Obituary: Brent Douglas Hamilton, 19, Loretto

BRENT DOUGLAS HAMILTON

Brent Douglas Hamilton, 19, of Loretto, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at his residence. He was born Feb. 18, 1997, in Marion County. He was a 2015 graduate of Marion County High School and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, kayaking, four-wheeling and working on vehicles.

Survivors include his parents, Rhonda Farmer Hamilton of Loretto and Doug Hamilton of Bardstown; one sister, Alexis Renee Hamilton of Loretto; his grandparents, Annette Caldwell Smith of Loretto, Bobby Joe and Loretta Brady Farmer of Lebanon and Norbert and Patricia Johnston Hamilton of Loretto; and a host of other family members and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 675 Highway 327, Lebanon with the Rev. David Naylor officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at the Mattingly Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Cameron O’Daniel, Robbie Mills, Byron Smith, Cory Smith, Cody Farmer and David Johnston.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
