Obituary: Phyllis Jean Drury, 90, Bardstown

PHYLLIS JEAN DRURY

Phyllis Jean Drury, 90, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born May 28, 1926, in Washington County to the late Fonnie and Nellie Dedman Coulter. She was a retired school bus driver for Jefferson County Board of Education and a member of the Nelson County Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Luther F. Drury; one daughter, Diane (Ken) Wilson of Nashville; one son, Doug (Sandra) Drury of Wheaton, Ill.; one sister, Devola Terrell of Chaplin; one brother, Joe (Margie) Coulter of Springfield;

five grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Johnson of Nashville, Rebecca(Victor) Gutwein of Chicago, Sarah (Logan) McRae, James Drury and John Drury, all of Wheaton, Ill.; and one great-grandchild, Cole Johnson.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Russell officiating with a private burial.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Rd., is in charge of arrangements.
