Obituary: Linda Faye Piper, 70, Bardstown
Linda Faye Piper, 70, of Bardstown, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born May 7, 1946, in Cox’s Creek to the late Asa Clifford and Emma Mae Woodford Stansbury. She was a former employee of Nukote and was retired from American Greetings. She was an avid reader who loved her family. She was a member of Cox’s Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Billy Clifford Stansbury and Roy P. Wigginton; and one grandson; Clayton J. Brookshire.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Piper; two daughters; Barbie Bryant of Bardstown and Tammy Hall of Slaughter, La.; one sister; Beverly (Ed) Hovious of Winterhaven, Fla., seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral services is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with Bro. Jim Bratcher officiating. Burial is in the Cox’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at the funeral home.
