Obituary: Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Logan Powell, 54, Lebanon

Elizabeth “Libby” Logan Powell, 54, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville. She was born Sept. 6, 1962 to Junior Sherrell and Darlene Wright in Marion County.

In addition to her parents, she was survived by her husband, Michael Powell; two daughters, Chastity (Kevin) Gribbins of Bradfordsville and Kelly (Jeremy) Cissell of Bardstown; five brothers, Darrell (Sharon) Sherrell and Roger (Cathy) Lane, both of Campbellsville; Bo (Nita) Sherrell of Lebanon, P.J (Cathy) Sherrell of Liberty, and Raymond (Mary) Sherrell of Bradfordsville; seven grandchildren, Anne Kaitlyn, Trinity, Lani, Michael, Xander, Davis and Easton; plus a host of family and friends.

The funeral is 11 .am. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at the Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home in Lebanon with burial in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016.
