Obituary: Joseph Earl ‘Joe’ Nalley, 85, Lebanon

Joseph Earl “Joe” Nalley, 85, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born on March 2, 1931, in Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Mae Wheeler Nalley; his parents, William Leo Nalley and Mattie Belle Pittman Nalley; one sister, Brenda Thomas; two brothers, Cleaver Nalley and Barnett Nalley; and one granddaughter, Jaelyn Wheatley.

Survivors include his wife, Libby Luckett Nalley of Lebanon; four daughters, Alina (Bobby) Lee, Sheila (Steve) Wheatley and Bettina (Keith) Cambron, all of Lebanon, and Lori (Stuart) Thomas of Bardstown; three sons, Kerry (Lori) Russell and Kris (Missy) Russell, both of Lebanon and Kevin (Sandy) Russell of Bardstown; one sister, Audrey Dupin of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
