Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, 9 a.m. – The Nelson County Board of Education held a work session special-called meeting on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, to review the construction projects at the Nelson County Early Learning Center and Thomas Nelson High School; reviewed plans for a pilot program for standards-based report cards for grades K-3; discussed grant applications that will be voted on at the regular December board meeting; reviewed needed changes to the 2017-18 district calendar and the board’s meeting calendar for next year. Running time: About 1 hour, 15 minutes.
