Obituary: Joe Turnpaugh, 31, Bardstown

Joe Turnpaugh, 31, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at his residence. He was born Feb. 5, 1985, in Bardstown. He was employed at QSI and also a self-employed photographer.

He is survived by his mother, Cyndi Mattingly Turnpaugh of Columbia City, Ind.; two sisters, Julie Tinnell of Bardstown and Lael Turnpaugh of Columbia City, Ind.; four brothers, Emanuel Turnpaugh, David Turnpaugh, Grant Turnpaugh and Clark Turnpaugh, all of Columbia City, Ind.; his grandfather, Joe Mattingly of Bardstown; his grandmother, Cathy Mattingly of Bardstown; his aunt and cousin, Glenda Mattingly and Brett Mattingly; his uncle, Ronnie Mattingly; and three cousins, Patrick Mattingly, Kirstin Mattingly and Sarah Mattingly, all of Germany.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at the funeral home.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
