Obituary: John Glasscock Claypool, 76, Lebanon

John Glasscock Claypool, 76, of Lebanon, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born Dec. 11, 1940, in Bradfordsville. He was a retired employee of Angel Manufacturing Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Elizabeth Dohoney Glasscock Claypool; and one brother, Jim Claypool.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Clark Claypool of Lebanon; one daughter, Renee Claypool Miles of Bradfordsville; one sister, Cindy Ford of Leitchfield; and two granddaughters, Amanda Lynn Miles and Jessica Renee Miles.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with burial in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
