Obituary: Marian Broce, 42, Bardstown

Marian Broce, 42, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at her residence. She was born Aug. 16, 1974, in San Bernardino, Calif. She was an employee for Bluegrass Assisted Living.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Griffith; and one grandson, Kaden Allison.

She is survived by her husband, John Broce of Bardstown; five sons, Jonathan (Chelle) Allison Jr., Sean Broce, Christian Broce, all of Bardstown, and Jonathan Bunch and Cody Griffith, both of Stanford; her mother, Sandra Mobley of Stanford; two sisters, Louise Sellers of Stanford and Kathy Joseph of Danville; two brothers, Ronnie Ege and Everette Ege, both of Stanford; four grandchildren; five nieces; and one nephew.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Hosmon officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
