Unresponsive man found in Walmart faces public intoxication charge

ems_640Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, 11:15 a.m. — Nelson County EMS, the Bardstown Fire Department and Bardstown Police responded early Monday morning to the Bardstown Walmart for a report of an unresponsive male in the  men’s clothing section of the store.  First-responders were dispatched at about 3:28 a.m. The man, Matthew Stephen Roby, 25, was examined at the scene by Nelson County EMS. He was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of public intoxication – controlled substances (excludes alcohol). He was lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
