Obituary: Theresa Gellhaus, 65, Nazareth

THERESA GELLHAUS

Theresa Gellhaus, 65, of Nazareth, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at her residence. She was born Sept. 27, 1951, in Louisville. She was a homemaker and a member of Athertonville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Gellhaus, Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Jane Gellhaus; three sisters, Elizabeth Stine, Sandra (Michael) Johnson and Suzanna (Michael) Hernandez; three brothers, Danny (Joyce) Gellhaus, Eddie Gellhaus and Tina (John) Skaggs; and 23 nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church cemetery in Nelsonville with Chaplin Mary Jo Kruer officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.

Contributions may go toward Hospice of Nelson County and Cabbage Patch Settlement House.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
