Obituary: Adron ‘Butch’ Marshall, 73, New Haven
Adron “Butch” Marshall, 73, of New Haven, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at the home of his niece in New Haven. He was born April 4, 1943, to the late Ozzie and Edith Calhoun Marshall. He was a retired self-employed truck driver with more than 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a lifelong member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Marshall; two sisters, Audrey Risner and Treva Woodyard; three brothers, Donald Marshall, Ardith Marshall and Bob Marshall.
Survivors include one son, Daniel (Susan) Marshall of New Haven; one sister, Bernice “Beice” Branham of Dayton; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, in the chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven with a private burial in the Marshall Family cemetery in New Haven.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at the funeral home.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
