Two injured in single-vehicle crash in Boston

Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, 2 p.m. — Two people were injured Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident in the Boston community. Just after 4 p.m., Friday, Nelson County EMS and the Boston Fire Department were dispatched the US 62 just past the Boston Food Mart for a pickup truck that had run off the road and hit a tree. EMS treated the victims at the scene and transported a man and woman, both 30 years of age, to Hardin Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment of possible facial injuries.
