Hardin Memorial Hospital planning new ambulatory care building for Bardstown

Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, 4 p.m. — Hardin Memorial Hospital is the company that is behind the new ambulatory care building proposed for a tract on East John Rowan between Corvin’s Furniture and the Bardstown Walmart.

hardin_memorial_hospital_1473208According to the plans filed with the Nelson County planning commission, the building with be a two-story facility with an actual foot print of approximately 35,000 square feet. The building will be constructed on a 6.99 acre tract adjacent to Corvin’s Furniture. The tract will also include approximately 290 parking spaces to serve the building.

A request Tuesday night from the Minneapolis, Minn.-based Medcraft Healthcare Real Estate in regard to water and sewer utilities to serve the medical building was approved by the Bardstown City Council. Medcraft has also submitted site plans for review by the Design Review Board.
