Obituary: Dixie Lee Ramsier, 76, Cox’s Creek
Dixie Lee Ramsier, 76, of Cox’s Creek, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at Baptist Healthcare in Louisville. She was born April 19, 1940, in Louisville to the late Ivory Lee and Catherine Henderson Taul. She was a homemaker and a member of the Whiskey City Cruisers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Maydell Bobb, her aunt who raised her after her mother passed away when she was six years old.
She is survived by her husband, Don Ramsier; one daughter; Jill (Lynn) Brockman of Bardstown; two sons, Tony Ramsier of Boston and Steve Engelking of Daleville, Ind.; two sisters, Carolyn (Paul) Senneff of Mount Washington and Saundra (Larry) Phelps; one brother, Randall (Loretta) Bobb of Ogilville, Ind.; and three grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Michelle Ramsier for her years of love, understanding, and support.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road.
